My Experience

My 10 years of clinical experience has given me the opportunity to work with hundreds of people. I have seen children recover from symptoms of trauma and stress, families heal from grief, and adults find hope. EMDR, CBT, and Expressive Art Therapy are ways that I can cater to your needs.

I believe in the transformational power of the creative process through which we naturally move toward healing.  Through my own personal practice of yoga as well as the use of yoga in therapy, I can see first hand the healing potential of this somatic approach.  I also help people to use visual art, music, and sandtray to creatively express and gain insight into their inner worlds. Meanwhile CBT and EMDR can be enhanced and supported by any of the expressive therapies.

Therapy is a healing journey that can take many forms depending on whom you choose to be your guide.  It is important to select a therapist who has experience and training in the areas where you are seeking help.  I feel fortunate to have gained a level of experience in this field that is both broad and deep.  In this section I will share a little more about the training and experience that has given me the skills to make a difference.
